You can change your online-status settings. You can now see which of your friends are online. The app's overall design has been updated. (Requires Android OS 10 or later or iOS 13 or later). Support for Dark Mode has been added to the app's Settings. System requirements have been updated to iOS 14.0 or higher (for iOS devices only). Other minor changes have also been implemented. You are now able to copy your friend code as a URL and/or save it as a QR code, which others can then use to send you friend requests. (Accepting a friend request requires a Nintendo Switch console.) You can now send friend requests using your friend code. (Note: Widget support not available on all Android devices.) You can now use the Splatoon 3 widget within the app, allowing you to check Battle Logs, Stage Schedule, Current Gear, and Album from your device's home screen. The app now supports the per-app language preferences in Android 13.

Content that appears on the Splatoon 3 widgets has been updated. The Splatoon 3 widgets are now accessible on the lock screen in iOS 16. Once downloaded, select the Nintendo Switch Online app to open it, and then sign in with your Nintendo Account. Select the Nintendo Switch Online app, and then select the appropriate option to download/install/update the application. You can also find a link to the application at. The Nintendo Switch Online app is compatible with smart devices which use the iOS and Android operating systems. The Nintendo Switch Online app service can be used by Nintendo Account holders who are age 13 and older. An active Nintendo Switch Online membership is required to use the Nintendo Switch Online app features. If you are using a lower OS version, please consider updating to a newer OS or use the app on a compatible device. Important: In order to provide a better experience, improvements were implemented with an app update on Jwhich increased the required iOS version (14.0 or later) and Android OS version (6.0 or later).
